This is the question that haunts me most of the time; often I think about it. Where is our country going, and to be more specific where are we as individuals heading to? With every passing day we are heading towards a destruction that will be brought to us as an unavoidable truth which is the result of our negligence. Statistics say that the lifestyle of people is rising and breaking all the benchmarks, but does anyone have a little time to think about what the cost is that everyone is paying for attaining this? No, you are wrong; I am not talking about the financial cost because today everyone in himself or herself has become an emotionless money making machine. That’s the cost that every one of us is paying for because of this record breaking lifestyle. Today we are going away from our rich Indian Culture and going towards western culture because people will call us modern and forward. We Indians talk of culture so frequently whenever we see that we are lagging behind the world on any point. Yes, I would like to address those people who take the shelter of Indian culture to hide their naked body. Their body is naked because they are losers and cannot compete with this ever rising and ever developing world. Don’t they see what type of a cultured society they are living in? Newspapers are full of news of murders, thefts, robberies, rapes etc. etc. It’s very rare to see the news of a man helping other fellow creation of God. Is this the culture that our ancestors have gifted us with? Is this the cultured society that we are living in? Is this the
